Common questions
Is Leap Exam free for IELTS?
Yes. All of our Reading and Listening papers are free, and there are over 400 of them. You see your band and an answer review when you finish. Your first band score for Speaking, for Writing Task 1 and for Writing Task 2 is free, and so is one full mock test.
Do I need a card or a password?
No. You start with your email address or your Google account. There is no card, no password and no trial that runs out.
Is it like the real computer-delivered IELTS?
Yes. You get the same layout: split screen, timer, highlighter, notes and review flags. In a full test, the Listening audio plays only once, as it does on test day.
Where do the papers come from?
They are past papers from real IELTS Academic tests from 2021 to 2026. We check every question against the paper's answer key before it goes live.
How are Writing and Speaking marked?
Our engine scores all four official criteria, using the public IELTS band descriptors. It shows corrections on your own sentences.
What do I get with Pro?
You get unlimited marking for Writing and Speaking, and unlimited mock tests with a full report on each one. Our engine will rewrite your essay to get Band 9.
