Affiliate Program Terms

As an approved affiliate, you earn a commission of 30% of every payment a referred student makes to us in the 12 months following that student's first paid purchase. The 12-month window runs per student, from their first payment, and includes renewals within it.

Students you refer receive 15% off their first payment, applied through your personal promotion code. The discount applies once, to the first payment only.

Commission is calculated on the amount the student actually pays, after their discount and excluding any taxes we collect. We may agree a different rate with you in writing; unless we do, the rate is 30%.

Two things attribute a student to you:

• Your link. Clicking your affiliate link, or any Leap Exam URL carrying your code, sets a cookie that lasts 60 days. If a student clicks more than one affiliate's link, the most recent click before their first payment wins (last touch).
• Your code. If a student redeems your promotion code at checkout, that attributes them to you, whether or not the cookie is present.

Once a student makes their first payment, their attribution is fixed and later clicks on other affiliates' links do not change it. We attribute in good faith based on the tracking data we have; where tracking is blocked, cleared, or otherwise unavailable, a referral may not record, and our records are final.

• Each commission becomes payable 45 days after the payment that earned it (NET-45). This clears our 7-day refund window before money moves.
• We pay out monthly, in USD, via Wise or PayPal. You are responsible for giving us accurate payout details and keeping them current.
• The minimum payout is USD $50. A balance below the minimum is not lost; it rolls into the next month until it clears the threshold.
• If a payment you earned commission on is refunded or charged back, in whole or in part, the related commission is reversed. If it was already paid out, we may deduct the amount from your balance or your next payout.
• We may withhold or reverse commissions that we reasonably believe arise from a breach of these Program Terms or from fraudulent, self-dealing, or artificial transactions.

Commissions apply to purchases made on the Leap Exam website through Stripe. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play (in-app purchases in our mobile apps) are outside the Program and never earn commission, because those platforms do not let us attribute them to you.

Free use of the Service earns nothing; only paid purchases within a referred student's 12-month window do.

While you take part in the Program, you must not:

• Buy through your own link or code, or arrange purchases on behalf of yourself, your household, or accounts you control.
• Bid on Leap Exam brand terms (including misspellings and close variants) in search or other paid advertising, or direct paid traffic to pages that impersonate us.
• List your code or link on coupon, voucher, deal, or cashback sites, or present the 15% discount as a public coupon rather than a personal recommendation.
• Send spam: unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or direct messages carrying your link.
• Promote Leap Exam without disclosing your affiliate relationship (see Disclosing the relationship below).
• Claim or imply that Leap Exam guarantees any test score, band, admission, visa, or migration outcome, or make any other false or misleading claim about the Service, its pricing, or the discount.
• Use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, toolbars, or any other technique that sets the referral cookie without a deliberate click on your link.

Breaching these rules may cost you the commissions connected to the breach and may end your participation in the Program (see Termination).

You must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission when someone buys through your link or code, in every place you promote Leap Exam. In Australia this is what the Australian Consumer Law and ACCC guidance on influencer advertising require; if you promote to audiences in the United States, the FTC's endorsement guides require the same.

A plain sentence does it: "I earn a commission if you subscribe through my link, and you get 15% off." The disclosure must be visible where the link is, not buried behind a click or in a profile nobody reads.

You take part in the Program as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Program Terms makes you our employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer, and you may not bind us or make commitments on our behalf. You are responsible for your own taxes on Program income, including GST if you are registered for it.

While you are in the Program, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Leap Exam name and logo solely to promote the Service as these Program Terms allow. You may not alter our marks, register domain names, social media handles, or trademarks confusingly similar to ours, or suggest that your channel is operated or endorsed by us. The licence ends when your participation in the Program ends.

You can leave the Program at any time by telling us. We can suspend or end your participation at any time, and will do so where these Program Terms are breached.

If your participation ends without a breach, commissions you have already earned are honoured: they continue through the normal NET-45 schedule and are paid out once they are payable and clear the payout minimum. If your participation ends because of fraud or a breach of the promotion rules, we may cancel unpaid commissions connected to the breach. Either way, your links and code stop tracking new referrals when your participation ends.

We may change the Program, including the commission rate, the discount, and these Program Terms, with 30 days' notice by email or through the affiliate portal. Changes apply from the end of the notice period and do not reduce commissions already earned. Continuing to promote Leap Exam after the notice period means you accept the change. We may also close the Program entirely on the same notice, in which case earned commissions are honoured as described under Termination.

These Program Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. Nothing in these Program Terms limits rights you have under laws that apply to you and cannot be excluded.
